About Zoom Hole

A free arcade game about being exactly the right size.

You are a black hole drifting through orbital space. Debris, satellites, rockets and eventually whole worlds come at you. You control one thing: how big you are.

That single number decides everything. Anything smaller than you is swallowed and makes you bigger. Anything larger ends the run. Because your size is also your reach, growing to catch something and shrinking to avoid something are the same skill, used in opposite directions.

Why it never ends

There are no levels and no hand-built maps. Every distance and size in the world is measured as a multiple of your current radius, and the camera scale is tied to that radius. The world therefore looks the same at every scale while you keep growing without limit — the same rules that spawn a loose bolt early on spawn a galaxy twenty minutes later.

The pace keeps rising too, on a curve that always increases but never becomes unreadable. A run ends because you misjudged a size, not because the game ran out of content.

Fair by construction

Every hazard the game spawns satisfies two rules: shrinking all the way down would always have cleared it, and growing all the way up would always have reached it. You are never killed by something you could not have avoided, and nothing on screen is scenery you can safely ignore.

Free to play

Zoom Hole is free. It is supported by ads, kept deliberately light: nothing plays before a run, between runs, or during play. The only video ad is one you choose to watch, once per run, to continue after dying.
